Full closure of
Interstate 75 rescheduled for Dec. 11 and 13

(Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014) – The full closure of southbound I-75 between
the SR 562 and Mitchell Avenue interchanges is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 11
and Saturday, Dec. 13.
Closures
for the railroad
bridge replacement project are as follows:
Thursday, Dec. 11
Closure
of SR 562 ramp to southbound I-75 at 9 p.m.; followed by full closure of
southbound I-75 at 11 p.m. with all lanes reopened to traffic by 6 a.m. Friday,
Dec. 12. Suggested
detour is west on I-275 to east on I-74 to I-75. The ramp from southbound I-75
to eastbound SR 562 will be open to traffic as well.
Friday, Dec. 12
Closure
of SR 562 ramp to southbound I-75 at 9 p.m.; single lane closure on north and
southbound I-75 at 8 p.m., followed by double lane closure on southbound I-75
at 11 p.m., with all lanes reopened to traffic by 6 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13.
Saturday, Dec. 13
Closure
of SR 562 ramp to southbound I-75 at 9 p.m.; followed by full closure of
southbound I-75 at 11 p.m. with all lanes reopened to traffic by 8 a.m. Sunday,
Dec. 14. Suggested detour is west on I-275 to east on I-74 to I-75. The
ramp from southbound I-75 to eastbound SR 562 will be open to traffic as well.
