Full closure of southbound I-75 scheduled
Hamilton County (Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015) – A full
closure of southbound Interstate 75 at State Route 562
is scheduled to accommodate bridge work.
The closure will be in place Thursday, Dec. 10 and
Friday, Dec. 11, beginning at 11 p.m., reopening by 5 a.m. the next day.
This full closure will also be in place each night the
week of Monday, Dec. 14, beginning at 11 p.m., reopening by 5 a.m. the next
day.
Traffic will be detoured to westbound I-275 to
eastbound 74 to southbound I-75. All work is weather dependent.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert
motorists of the upcoming road and lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers
as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their
speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
