Work to require I-71 lane closures
Warren County (Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013) – As part of the gore extension project on northbound Interstate 71 to Mason-Montgomery Road, lane closures will be in place in the upcoming week.
The right lane of northbound I-71 will be closed, beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, Friday, Oct. 18 and Monday, Oct. 21, reopening to traffic by 7 a.m. the following day. In addition, lane closures will be in place on the ramp from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. during those nights.
Arrow boards and signs are in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the ramp closure.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
