Harveysburg Road closure scheduled for bridge work
Warren County (Thursday, June 1, 2017) – Bridge
work requires closing Harveysburg Road over Interstate 71, beginning Monday,
June 5 for 120 days.
The closure will be in place in
order to complete bridge work on Harveysburg Road, including bridge deck
replacement and modification of the existing wing walls.
The detour uses Harveysburg
Road, SR 73, Oregonia Road, Clarksville Road and
Wilmington Road.
In addition, various lane
closures will be in effect on north and southbound I-71 at Harveysburg Road
from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m., Monday through Friday, and from 4 p.m. to 10 a.m.
Saturday and Sunday.
Arrow boards and/or signs
will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and road closure.
To help ensure the safety of
the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should
remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing
through the work zone.
