I-275
lane and ramp closures this week
Hamilton County (Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014)
– Bridge sealing operations will require the following lane closures
on westbound Interstate 275 this week:
Tuesday, Nov. 4: Double lane closure between
I-75 and Winton Road, beginning at 7 p.m. All ramps between I-75 and Winton
will be opened but at a limited capacity.
Wednesday, Nov. 5, beginning at 9 p.m.:
Double lane closure between I-75 and SR 4, as well as closure of the ramps from
westbound I-275 to southbound SR 747 and SR 4 to westbound I-275, with traffic
detoured to northbound SR 4 to eastbound Crescentville to southbound SR 747 to
westbound I-275.
Thursday, Nov. 6, beginning at 11 p.m.:
Double lane closure between US 42 and I-75, as well as ramp from westbound
I-275 to southbound I-75 with traffic detoured to westbound I-275 to southbound
SR 747 to eastbound I-275 to southbound I-75. Ramp from westbound I-275 to
northbound I-75 will be open but in a limited capacity.
All lanes will reopen to traffic by 6 a.m. the following day, and
work is weather permitting.
Arrow boards and signs are in place prior to the work zone to
alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
