Interstate 471 ramp closure scheduled
Hamilton County (Thursday, June 7, 2018) - Bridge work requires closing the ramp from west U.S. Route 50 to Interstates 71 and 75
nightly from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. Thursday, June 7 and Friday, June 8.
On Monday, June 11 the
I-471 ramp north to I-71/75 and the right lane of northbound I-471 between in
the vicinity of the U.S. 50 interchange will be closed from 10 p.m. until 5
a.m.
Also either Tuesday,
June 12 or Wednesday, June 13 (depending on weather conditions) there will be a
complete closure of I-471/71 northbound between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. All traffic
will be moved to the I-471 north ramp to I-71/75 and then to SR 562.
Arrow boards and/or signs are in place to alert motorists of the
upcoming work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
