Interstate 675 closure scheduled for aerial crossing
Greene County (Friday, Feb. 17, 2012) – A contractor working for the city of Springfield will erect an aerial cable over Interstate 675 at Yellow Springs Fairfield Road (half mile north of SR 235) that will require short-term total closures of the interstate.
Work will begin at 12:01 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, and be completed within two hours.
Ohio State Patrol will provide assistance with traffic control
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming closure. To help ensure the safety of the workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
