construction update

(Thursday, April 30, 2015) – Paving work will require nightly lane
closures on Interstate 675 the next two weeks.
The
lane closures will be in place on both north and southbound I-675 between the
North Fairfield Road and State Route 235 exits beginning at 7 p.m. each night
the weeks of May 4 and May 11, reopening to traffic by 6 a.m. the following
day.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane
and rolling closures and work is dependent on weather.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
