Interstate 71 Bridge Deck Replacement project
update
Hamilton County (Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017) - A single lane closure on
northbound Interstate 71 just north of the Lytle Tunnel is required tonight
(Sept. 12) from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
This lane restriction
is to accommodate moving the I-71 northbound lanes currently in a temporary
configuration on the southbound side back to the northbound side of the
interstate.
Also the Fifth St. ramp
to I-71 northbound is expected to open Thursday, Sept. 14 - time of the ramp
opening is yet to be determined.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
For ongoing traffic,
construction and weather-related information, please check www.OHGO.com.
