Interstate 71/Irwin Simpson Bridge Work
Warren County (Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017) – Work on the Irwin Simpson Bridge over
Interstate 71 requires lane restrictions on the bridge beginning today through
Wednesday, September 6. Traffic will be maintained with temporary traffic signals
24 hours a day through the duration of the work.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions.
This work is part of
the I-71 paving project between the Hamilton County line and State Route 48.
The overall paving project is expected to be completed by mid-December, weather
permitting.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
