Interstate 71 Repaving Project Update
Hamilton County (Friday, July 27, 2018) Roadwork involving the Interstate
71 Repaving Project between the Lytle Tunnel and State Route 126 requires the various
lane restrictions from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. nightly starting Monday, July 30
through Saturday morning, August 4:
- I-71 southbound and northbound
between Reading Rd. and the Lytle Tunnel;
- I-71 southbound and northbound
between Ridge Rd. and SR 126/Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway; and
- Reading Road between Liberty
and McMillan.
Arrow boards and/or
signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
