Interstate 71 Repaving Project Update

Hamilton County (Wednesday, August 1, 2018) - Work on the Interstate 71 repaving project requires the following restrictions:
Wednesday, Aug. 1 through Saturday Aug. 4 - Close the Fifth Street ramp to north I-71 nightly from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Traffic will be detoured using Pike, Fourth, Walnut and Second streets.
Also, nightly closures on Eggleston Avenue and Culvert Street from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1 through Saturday, Aug. 4. Traffic will be maintained.
Thursday, Aug. 2 through Saturday Aug. 4 - Close the south I-71 ramp to south I-471 and the Reading/Liberty ramp to south I-471 nightly from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. Traffic will be detoured using Reading, Sycamore and Fifth streets.
Arrow boards and/or signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
