Interstate 71 lane and short-term full closures next week
Warren County (Monday, March 21, 2016) – Bridge work requires the following lane and short-term full closures on Interstate 71 at the Socialville-Fosters Road bridge next week.
Single lane closures on north and southbound I-71 beginning at 8 p.m. each night, Sunday, March 27 through Friday, April 1, followed by double lane closures at 11 p.m., with all lanes reopening by 7 a.m. the following day.
In addition, there will be intermittent 15-minute full closures beginning at 12:01 a.m. each day, Tuesday, March 29 through Friday, April 1, with all lanes reopening by 5 a.m. Law enforcement officers will maintain traffic.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane and full closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
