I-71 lane closures week of April 20

Interstate 71 lane closures scheduled week of April 20
 
Warren County (Tuesday, April 15, , 2014) – Bridge work on Interstate 71 originally scheduled for the week of April 13 has been postponed to the week of April 20, and will require the following closures:
Work will require closure of the right lane of northbound I-71, beginning two miles north of the Wilmington Road exit, and closure of the right lane of southbound Interstate 71, beginning seven miles south of the State Route 73 exit. This closure will be in place from 9 p.m. Sunday, April 20 through noon Thursday, April 24.  Traffic will be maintained with one 11-foot lane in each direction and truck restrictions will be in place.  Traffic delays may be significant and motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
 
In addition, the left lane of southbound I-71 will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 17 for pavement repairs.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
