Interstate 71 Lane
Closures Tonight near MLK
Hamilton
County (Wednesday,
April 6, 2016) –
As part of the work to create a new, full movement interchange at Interstate 71
and Martin Luther King Drive, lane restrictions will occur tonight (April 6) on
northbound and southbound I-71 between Taft Road and Dana Avenue.
The
southbound double-lane closure will begin at 10 p.m. with the northbound
double-lane closure beginning two hours after the conclusion of the Reds game.
All lanes will reopen by 6 a.m. the next day.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work
zone, lane and short-term full closures.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
