Interstate 71 repaving project update
Hamilton County (Monday, March 19, 2018) - Work on the Interstate 71
repaving project requires the following closures:
- single lane closures of north and south I-71 between
Reading and Smith roads between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. nightly beginning
tonight until Wednesday morning and
- nightly ramp closure from north Reading Rd. to north
I-71 beginning Wednesday, March 21 at 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. Thursday, March
22 and again Thursday night at 10 p.m. until Friday morning at 4 a.m.
All work is
contingent upon weather.
Arrow boards and/or
signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
