Interstate 71 repaving project update
Hamilton County (Friday, Oct. 6, 2017) - Roadwork and sign installation
requires the following lane closures:
- southbound I-71 between Ridge Road and Victory Parkway
beginning Sunday, Oct. 8 through Saturday, Oct. 14 between 8 p.m. and 6
a.m. Traffic will be maintained.
- shoulder closures on northbound I-71 between Victory
Parkway and Ridge Road beginning Monday Oct. 9 though Friday, Oct.
13.
- single lane closures of city streets near I-71 ramps
from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. beginning Monday, Oct. 9 through Friday, Oct. 13.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
