Interstate 71/75 lane and ramp closures scheduled for bridge work

Hamilton County (Tuesday, July 5, 2016) – Bridge work requires the following lane and ramp closures on Interstate 71/75 at the Brent Spence Bridge.

Various lane closures on northbound I-75 across the Brent Spence Bridge each week night from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day. The Fourth Street on ramp to northbound I-71/75 in Covington is also closed. The detour is southbound Fourth Street to Pike Street to northbound I-75/71.

Work will begin two hours later when there is a Cincinnati Reds home game.

These lane closures will be in place for the next two weeks.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and lane closures. All work is weather dependent.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
