I-71/75 closures for bridge work beginning July 22

 
 
I-71/75 lane and ramp closures scheduled for bridge work
 
Hamilton County (Friday, July 22 , 2016) – Bridge and pavement work require the following lane and ramp closures on Interstate 71/75 at the Brent Spence Bridge.
 
Beginning Friday, July 22, at 9 p.m. eastbound U.S. Route 50 to 2nd Street will be closed. In addition southbound I-75 traffic will be shifted to the 2nd Street ramp.
 
This traffic pattern will occur each night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday, July 22 through Monday, July 25.
 
U.S. 50 will be detoured to 5th Street.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone, lane and ramp closures. All work is weather dependent.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
