I-71/Jeremiah Morrow lane closures week of Oct. 28
Warren County (Friday, Oct. 25, 2013) – Work on the Interstate 71/ Jeremiah Morrow Bridge will require the following lane closures the week of Oct. 28:
Monday, Oct. 28: Left lane of northbound I-71 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 29: Left lane of both directions of I-71 beginning at 7:30 a.m. with the southbound lane reopening at noon, and the northbound lane reopening at 1 p.m.; in addition, the left lane of northbound I-71 will be closed from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 30 and Thursday, Oct. 31: Left lane of both directions of I-71, beginning at 7:30 a.m. with the southbound lane reopening at noon, and the northbound lane reopening at 1 p.m.
Friday, Nov. 1: Left lane of northbound I-71 from 7:30 a.m. to noon.
The schedule is weather permitting.
Arrow boards and signs are in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the ramp closure.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
