Westbound MLK lane
closure for Interstate 71/MLK project
Hamilton
County (Monday,
June 29, 2015) – As part of the
work to create a new, full movement interchange at Interstate 71 and Martin
Luther King Drive, there will be a single right lane closure on westbound MLK
Dr. over I-71 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, July 4.
In
addition Whittier St. will be closed until July 10, 2015. The detour route is
signed.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane
closures.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
