Interstate
71/MLK project work for Week of Sept. 21
Hamilton County (Friday,
Sept. 18, 2015) – As part of the work to create a new,
full movement interchange at Interstate 71 and Martin Luther King Drive, the
following lane closures will be in place between William Howard Taft and
Victory Parkway:
On Monday, Sept. 21, Tuesday,
Sept. 22 and Wednesday, Sept. 23 a single lane closure on northbound I-71 at 7
p.m., with a double lane closure at 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day.
On Wednesday, Sept.23 and
Thursday, Sept.24, and Friday, Sept. 25 a single lane closure on southbound
I-71 at 7 p.m., with a double lane closure at 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following
day.
Arrow boards and/or signs
will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and traffic
restrictions.
All work is weather
permitting.
To help ensure the safety
of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should
remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing
through the work zone.
