Interstate
71/MLK project update
Hamilton County (Monday,
Aug. 3, 2015) – As
part of the work to create a new, full movement interchange at Interstate 71
and Martin Luther King Drive, the following restrictions are in place on Martin
Luther King Drive:
There will be a 15-minute
full closure of MLK Drive over I-71 on Wednesday, Aug. 5 and Thursday, Aug. 6
between 2:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. for equipment relocation. Law enforcement
officers will maintain traffic on MLK Drive.
Arrow boards and/or signs
will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone.
To help ensure the safety
of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should
remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing
through the work zone.
