I-71/MLK Various Lane Closures
Hamilton County - (Friday, June 23, 2017) Beginning Sunday, June 25, various lane
closures on southbound I-71 between Woodburn and McMillan streets from 7 p.m.
to 6 a.m., through Saturday, July 1. Also, single lane closures on north
and southbound Gilbert Avenue between Lincoln and Blair avenues, from 7 p.m.
until 6 a.m., through Thursday, June 29.
Beginning Monday, June
26, single lane closure on Reading Road between Lincoln Avenue and Whittier Street
from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Thursday, June 29.
In addition, beginning
Tuesday, June 27, full closure of Lincoln Avenue between May Street and Winslow
Avenue from 6 p.m. until 9 a.m., through Saturday, July 1. The detour uses
Lincoln, Winslow, Oak and May streets.
Also, a single lane
closure on northbound I-71 between McMillan Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive
from 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, June 27 until 6 a.m., through Saturday, July
1. Single lane closures on north and southbound Martin Luther King Drive
between Harvey and Mentor streets from 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 27 until 6 a.m.
Saturday, July 1.
Traffic will be
maintained and all work is contingent upon weather.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane and full closures.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
