MLK lane closures
scheduled for traffic switch
Hamilton County (Tuesday, May 12, 2015) - As
part of the work to create a new, full movement interchange at Interstate 71
and Martin Luther King Drive, traffic on Martin Luther King Drive will be moved
to the south side of the bridge over I-71, allowing crews to begin work on the
north side of the bridge.
Lane
closures on Martin Luther King Drive will be from 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 12 until
6 a.m. Wednesday, May 13 and traffic will be maintained with law enforcement
officers.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane
closure.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
