I-71/MLK lane restrictions beginning July 5

 
Interstate 71/MLK lane closures scheduled next week
                                  
Hamilton County (Friday, July 1, 2016) – The following restrictions will be in place on Interstate 71 and Martin Luther King Drive as part of the work to create a new, full movement interchange between Tuesday, July 5 and Saturday, July 6.
 
Various lane closures on southbound I-71 from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. There will also be short-term full closures between 12 midnight to 5 a.m.
 
Tuesday, July 5 Eastbound Martin Luther King Drive between Reading Road and Gilbert Avenue will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
 
Southbound Reading Road between Martin Luther King Drive and Lincoln will require a one lane closure with flaggers from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Tuesday – Thursday).
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure. All work is dependent upon weather.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
