Interstate 71/MLK project update
Interstate 71 lane and short-term full closures

Hamilton County (Tuesday, April 11, 2017) – Bridge work on the Interstate 71/MLK project requires the following restrictions this week.

Tuesday, April 11 through Thursday, April 13: Various lane closures on north and southbound I-71 from McMillan Street to south of Victory Parkway each night from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be maintained.

Also, on Wednesday, April 12, there will be short-term full closures on north and southbound I-71 at the Martin Luther King bridge from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be maintained with local law enforcement officers.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the lane closures. All work is dependent upon weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
