Interstate 71/MLK project update

Hamilton County (Friday, June 30, 2017) The McMillan Street ramp to northbound I-71 will be open to traffic at approximately 11 p.m. Friday, June 30.
Beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, June 30, single lane closure on northbound I-71 from McMillan Street to Martin Luther King Drive until 9 p.m.
On Sunday, July 2, single lane closures on north and southbound Gilbert Avenue between Lincoln Avenue and Blair Avenue nightly from 6 p.m. Sunday, July 2 through 6 a.m. the following day, through Saturday, July 8. No work will occur on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4 due to the holiday.
Sunday, July 2, single lane closures on east and westbound Martin Luther King Drive between Harvey Avenue and Mentor Court nightly from 6 p.m. Sunday, July 2 through 6 a.m. the following day, through Saturday, July 8. No work will occur on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4 due to the holiday.
Sunday, July 2, single lane closures on north and southbound Reading Road between Lincoln Avenue and Whittier Street nightly from 6 p.m. Sunday, July 2 through 6 a.m. the following day, through Saturday, July 8. No work will occur on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4 due to the holiday.
In addition, various lane closures on northbound I-71 between McMillan Street and Dana Avenue nightly between 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 5 through 6 a.m. Saturday, July 8. There will also be short-term full closures in the same area during the same time frame. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Also, various lane closures on southbound I-71 between Dana Avenue and McMillan Street nightly between 7 p.m. Friday, July 7 through 6 a.m. Saturday, July 8. There will also be short-term full closures in the same area during the same time frame. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and restrictions.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
