Interstate 71/ Socialville-Fosters Bridge update
Warren County (Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016) – The following restrictions will be in place next week at the Socialville-Fosters Bridge on Interstate 71 (approximately mile marker 24).
Beginning Sunday, Aug. 21, north and southbound I-71 will have various short-term full closures beginning at 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day. In addition, there will be various lane closures on north and southbound I-71 beginning at 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. These lane restrictions will occur until Saturday, Aug. 27.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone, lane closures and lane restrictions. All work is dependent upon weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
