Interstate 74 lane closures this weekend
Hamilton County (Friday, Sept. 14, 2012) –Construction work is requiring a double lane closure on eastbound Interstate 74 at State Route 128 this weekend.
One lane of eastbound I-74 will be closed beginning at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16 with a second lane closure to follow at 8 p.m. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17. The closure will start near the west I-275/I-74 interchange and terminate just east of the bridge.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and bridge closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
