I-74/North Bend Road ramp and lane closures scheduled

 
Interstate 74/North Bend Road lane and ramp closures
 
Hamilton County (Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016) – Bridge and pavement work will require various lane and ramp closures on Interstate 74 and North Bend Road beginning Saturday.
 
Saturday, Aug. 13 through Sunday, Aug. 14 - utility work requires closing the ramp from southbound North Bend Road to westbound Interstate 74 from midnight Saturday until approximately 4 a.m. Sunday. The detour will use eastbound I-74 to Montana Avenue to westbound I-74.
 
Sunday, Aug. 14 through Tuesday, Aug. 16 – close the ramp from northbound North Bend Road to westbound I-74 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day. Also, various lane closures on east and westbound Interstate 74 from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
 
Wednesday, Aug. 17 through Friday, Aug. 19 – various lane closures on east and westbound I-74 from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
 
The travelling public should expect delays in the area. A local northbound alternate route has been posted by the Hamilton County Engineer’s Office from North Bend Road to Boomer Road to Race Road to West Fork Road to North Bend Road.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and lane and ramp closures. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
