I-75 Bridge Painting Closes Lanes this Week

 

Lane Closures on Interstate 75 Scheduled this Week

Hamilton County (Monday, July 18, 2011) – Bridge painting will require lane closures on Interstate 75 this week:

Monday, July 18 through Thursday, July 21:

Northbound Interstate 75 from the north end of the Brent Spence Bridge to Freeman Avenue, 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day;

Friday, July 22:

Southbound Interstate 75 from Ezzard Charles to Freeman, one lane at 7 p.m. with a second to follow at 10 p.m. with all lanes reopening by 6 a.m. the next day.

Saturday, July 23 and Sunday, July 24:

Southbound I-75 from Ezzard Charles to Freeman, two right lanes closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.;

Southbound I-75 from Ezzard Charles to Freeman, one right lane closed from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. with a second right lane closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
