Lane Closure and Speed Reduction slated for Interstate 75
Warren County (Friday, April 6, 2012) – As the Interstate 75 widening project resumes, the left lane of southbound I-75 will be closed, leaving three lanes of southbound traffic. The speed limit will also be reduced to 55 mph. This lane and speed limit reduction will begin Tuesday, April 10 and last until approximately September 2012.
Arrow boards and/or signs are in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the lane closure and speed limit reduction.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
