I-75 Lane Closures for week of April 30

Lane closures scheduled for Interstate 75 and Mitchell Avenue
 
Hamilton County (Friday, April 27, 2012) – Improvement work at the Interstate 75/Mitchell Avenue
Interchange will require the following lane closures the week of April 30:
 
Mon., April 30 to Fri., May 4:  Various lane closures on north and southbound I-75 each night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
 
Mon., April 30, Tues., May 1 and Wed., May 2:  Single lane closures on east and westbound Mitchell Avenue under I-75 beginning at 8 p.m., followed by double lane closures at 10 p.m.  Lanes will return to a single lane closure at 5 a.m. with all lanes open to traffic by 6 a.m. the following day.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming closure and detour.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
