I-75 lane closures this week
Hamilton County (Thursday, May 14, 2015) – Paving
operations will require a lane closure on southbound Interstate 75 between the
I-74 interchange and Hopple Street exit.
Beginning at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 14, the
right lane of southbound I-75 will be closed between the westbound I-74 ramp to
I-75 and the contra-flow split. This closure will shift to the left at the
eastbound I-74 merge with southbound I-75 and continue on to the Hopple Street
exit. The lane will reopen to traffic by 6 a.m. the following day.
Paving operations also will require a lane closure on
southbound I-75 between
the Marshall Avenue bridge and the Harrison Avenue bridge from 9 p.m. Thursday,
May 14 until 2 a.m. Friday, May 15.
In
addition, guardrail repair will require closure of the ramp from southbound
I-75 to Harrison Avenue from 10 p.m. Thursday, May 14 until 2 a.m. Friday, May
15.
Pavement
work will require a double left lane closure on northbound I-75 between the
Hopple bridge and the Monmouth Avenue bridge, beginning at midnight Friday, May
15, reopening to traffic by 6 a.m. the following day.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road
and lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers
as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their
speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
