I-75 lane closures update
Hamilton County (Monday, Sept. 14, 2015) –Construction
work on Interstate 75 requires the following closures this week:
Closure of the right lane on north and
southbound Interstate 75 at Hopple will be in place, beginning at 8 p.m. each
night through Thursday, Sept. 17, reopening to traffic by 6 a.m. the next day.
day. The ramp from southbound I-75 to Hopple Street will be closed nightly at 10 p.m., Tuesday, Sept.15 through Friday, Sept. 18, reopening to traffic by 5 a.m. the next day.
Lane closures on east and westbound Hopple
Street for signal work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
Various closures on side streets from 9
a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
In addition, single and double left lane
closures will be in place nightly on northbound I-75 at State Route 562,
beginning at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15 through Thursday, Sept. 17, reopening to
traffic by 5 a.m. the next day. Single and double right lane closures on
northbound I-75 will be in place, beginning at 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17
through Saturday, Sept. 19, reopening to traffic by 5 a.m. the next day. The
ramp from northbound I-75 to eastbound SR 562 will also be closed when the
right lane closures are in place.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road
and lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers
as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their
speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
