Full closure of northbound I-75 scheduled
Hamilton County (Friday, Sept. 18, 2015) – Various lane
and ramp closures will be in place on Interstate 75 at the State Route
562/Norwood Lateral (mile marker 7) next week, with a full closure of
northbound I-75 scheduled for three nights, beginning Wednesday, Sept. 23.
Southbound I-75: Single lane closure at 8 p.m. followed by a double lane closure
at 11 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21 and Tuesday, Sept. 22; single lane closure at 8
p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23; all lanes reopened by 6 a.m. the next day.
Ramp from SR 562 to southbound
I-75: Closed nightly at 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, Tuesday, Sept. 22,
Wednesday, Sept. 23 and Thursday, Sept. 24; all lanes reopened by 6 a.m. the
next day.
Northbound I-75: Single lane closure at 8 p.m., followed by full closure of
northbound I-75 at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23 and Thursday, Sept. 24; all
lanes reopened by 5 a.m. the next day.
Northbound I-75 – Full closure Friday, Sept. 25 two hours after completion
of Cincinnati Reds game at approximately 11 p.m., reopening to traffic at 7
a.m. the next day.
For full closure of northbound
I-75, traffic will be detoured to westbound I-74 to eastbound I-275 to
northbound I-75.
I-75 and Hopple
Construction work on Interstate 75
at Hopple Avenue will require the following closures next week:
Closure of
the two right lanes on northbound I-75 from south of the Western Hills Viaduct
to just south of I-74 beginning at 10 p.m. each night Sunday, Sept. 20 through
Thursday, Sept. 24, reopening to traffic by 6 a.m. the next day.
Closure of
the two left lanes on southbound I-75 from south of Mitchell Avenue to south of
the Western Hills Viaduct; this closure will close the contraflow lanes on the
Hopple project; closure will be in place from10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22 until 6
a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23.
Right lane
closure on eastbound Hopple Street from 9
a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
Lane
closure on southbound Central Parkway between the Connector Road and Marshall
Avenue beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23 until work to install vandal
fence is complete on approximately Friday, Oct. 2
Right lane
closure on westbound Marshall Avenue and left lane closure on eastbound Marshall
Avenue between Central Parkway and Colerain beginning Sunday evening and
continuing through the week for bridge painting operations.
Various closures on side streets from 9
a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
In addition, single right lane closures are scheduled nightly for northbound I-75 between I-275 and Union Centre Blvd. (mile marker 17 to 18), beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18 through Thursday, Sept. 24, reopening to traffic by 6 a.m. the next day.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers
as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their
speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert
motorists of the upcoming and lane closures.
