I-75 double-lane closures at Hopple tonight
HAMILTON COUNTY (Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013) - As part of the improvements to the Interstate 75/Hopple interchange, a double-lane closure will be in place on both north and southbound Interstate 75 between I-74 and the Harrison Exit (exit 2B) from 11 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22 to 6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24. In addition, rolling 30-minute closures will be in place from 12:01 to 5 a.m. with the ramps from Hopple to southbound I-75 closed from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24. Arrow boards and signs are in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
