I-75 lane and ramp closures scheduled

 

HAMILTON COUNTY (Monday, July 7, 2014)  - As part of the improvements to the Interstate 75/Hopple Street interchange, the following lane and/or ramp closures will be in effect this week:

 -  Full closures on Marshall Avenue for bridge work nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, July 8 through Friday, July 11.

 - Thirty minute closure of Central Parkway from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, July 7.

 - Two left lanes of northbound I-75 nightly from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 11.  Also, the ramp from northbound I-75 to Hopple Street will closed each night from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

 -  Two left lanes of southbound I-75 nightly from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, July 7 through Thursday, July 10. 

 -  Two right lanes of southbound I-75 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Friday, July 11.  Also, the ramp from southbound I-75 to Hopple Street will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

 -  Various side street flagging operations for material deliveries from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

 Note:  No closures will take place until one hour after the end of the Reds games on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Permit work will require closing the southbound left lane of I-75 just south of Seymour Avenue (exit 9) nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, July 7 through Thursday, July 10.​

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
