I-75 lane closures scheduled today
Hamilton County (Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014) - The center lane of northbound Interstate 75 near the Mitchell Avenue interchange will close at noon today due to pavement and drainage issues.
The closure will remain in place through Wednesday, Feb. 19. Repair operations will require a double-lane closure, beginning at approximately 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19.
The double-lane closure will remain in effect until it is safe to re-open the lane(s). Updates will be provided when known. Traffic delays will be significant. Motorists are encouraged to seek an alternate route.
Arrow boards and signs are in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the ramp closure.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
