I-75 lane closures this weekend
Hamilton County (Friday, June 26, 2015) – Construction
work on Interstate 75 will require lane closures this weekend.
The left lane of southbound I-75 between
the Norwood Lateral (SR 562, mile marker 7) and Mitchell Avenue (mile marker 6)
will be closed from 4 a.m. Saturday, June 27 until midnight Sunday evening,
June 28. Daytime delays are likely; motorists should be alert for slow
and stopped traffic. Motorists may wish to follow the alternate route of
eastbound I-275 to southbound I-71.
A double left lane closure will be in
place on southbound I-75 between the I-74 interchange and Western Hills Viaduct
from 7 p.m. Sunday, June 28 until 6 a.m. Monday, June 29.
Due to this weekend’s forecasted inclement
weather, the lane closures advertised for north and southbound I-75 between
Glendale-Milford Road (exit 14) and I-275 (exit 16) have been canceled.
Through the week of June 29, pavement
operations will require double lane closures on westbound I-275 between
Colerain Avenue and Winton Road the week of June 29, beginning at 7 p.m. each
night and reopening by 6 a.m. the following day. These closures will be in
place through Thursday, July 2, weather permitting.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming and
lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers
as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their
speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
