I-75 lane closures scheduled for traffic shift

I-75 lane closures scheduled for traffic shift

Hamilton County (Wednesday, April 6, 2016) – Pavement work on Interstate 75 requires the following lane closures in order to shift lanes from the right (outside) shoulder to the left (inside) shoulder tonight.

Single lane closures on southbound I-75 south of Towne Street beginning at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, followed by double lane closures at 11 p.m., with all lanes reopening at 6 a.m. the following day.

All work depends on the weather. Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
