Lane Closures on Interstate 75
Hamilton County (Friday, Sept. 30, 2011) – Bridge and pavement work will require the following closures on Interstate 75:
Friday, Sept. 30 to Monday, Oct. 3: The left two lanes of northbound I-75 from Freeman Avenue to Bank Street and the right two lanes of southbound I-75 from Bank Street to Linn Street from 7 p.m. Friday to noon Saturday; from 6 p.m. Saturday to 11 a.m. Sunday and from 6 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday.
Monday to Thursday, Oct. 3 – 6: The left two lanes of northbound I-75 at 8th Street from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day; the left lane of northbound I-75 from 5th Street to 8th Street from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day; the right two lanes of southbound I-75 from Bank Street to Linn Street from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
