Interstate 71/75 lane and ramp closures scheduled for bridge work
Hamilton County (Thursday, July 30, 2016) – Bridge work requires the following lane and ramp closures on Interstate 71/75 at the Brent Spence Bridge.
Close the right lane of northbound I-75 each week night from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day. The Fourth Street on ramp to northbound I-71/75 in Covington is also closed. The detour is southbound Fourth Street to Pike Street to northbound I-75/71.
Work will begin two hours later when there is a Cincinnati Reds home game.
These lane closures will end tonight (Thursday, June 30) and will not be in effect again until Tuesday, July 5.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and lane closures. All work is weather dependent.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
