Interstate 75/Hopple Street closure scheduled Friday, Oct. 14
 
Hamilton County (Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016) –The following road and ramp closures will be in effect on the Interstate 75/Hopple Street project this weekend.
 
Beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, Hopple Street will be closed from Colerain Avenue to Dixmyth Avenue. Traffic will be detoured using Colerain and Monmouth avenues, Central Parkway and Ludlow and Clifton avenues.
 
In addition, the Connector Road will be closed from Central Parkway to Hopple Street. Traffic can use the following routes during this closure:
 
o   NB Central Parkway to east on Hopple, east on Ludlow Avenue and south on Clifton Avenue;
o   NB Central Parkway to west on Hopple, west on Marshall Avenue and north on Colerain Avenue;
o   SB Central Parkway to west on Hopple, west on Monmouth Avenue and south on Colerain Avenue.
 
Also, the following ramps will be closed:
 
o   Northbound I-75 to Hopple Street and southbound I-75 to Hopple Street
o   Hopple Street to southbound I-75 and Hopple Street to westbound I-74
 
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained during the closures, and all roads and ramps will be open to traffic by 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the work zone and closures.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
