I-75/Hopple Street construction update
HAMILTON COUNTY (Tuesday, Sept.
2, 2014)
– Upcoming work for the I-75/Hopple
Street improvement project will require the following closures Tuesday through
Friday this week:
Flagging operations on Marshall Avenue
for bridge construction between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily.
Full closure of Central Parkway between
Bates Avenue and Hopple Street from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.
Various side street flagging operations
for material deliveries between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists
of the upcoming lane or full closures.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
