I-75/Hopple construction update
Hamilton County (Friday, Oct. 30, 2015) –Construction
work on Interstate 75 at Hopple Street requires the following closures next
week:
The right lane of southbound I-75 between I-74 and the
Hopple Street bridge from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5 and Friday, Nov. 6.
The ramp from southbound I-75 to Hopple Street from 10
p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5 and Friday, Nov. 6.
Rolling closures on southbound I-75 from I-74 to the
Western Hills Viaduct from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6.
The right turn lane of westbound Hopple Street to the
westbound I-74 ramp from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The ramp will remain open.
Flagging operations on side streets, and various
single lane closures on Hopple Street and the Connector Road to install traffic
signal loops from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert
motorists of the upcoming road and lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers
as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their
speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
