I-75/Hopple lane closures update
Hamilton County (Monday, Aug. 24, 2015) –Construction
work on Interstate 75 at Hopple requires the following closures this week:
Closure of the right lane on the ramp from
northbound Interstate 75 to eastbound I-74, beginning at 8 p.m. Monday, Aug.
24, reopening by 1 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25.
Daily lane closures on Marshall Avenue
from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for bridge painting operations
Various closures on side streets from 9
a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
Sunday, Aug. 30 through Friday, Sept. 4,
nightly right lane closures will be in place on northbound I-75, beginning at 8
p.m. and reopening to traffic by 6 a.m. the following day.
Rolling 30-minute closures will be in
place on northbound I-75 on Tuesday, Sept. 1, Thursday, Sept. 2 and Friday,
Sept. 3, beginning at 12:01 a.m.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road
and lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers
as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their
speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
