I-75/Hopple and SR 562 construction update
Hamilton County (Friday, Oct. 23, 2015) –Construction work on Interstate 75 at Hopple Street requires the following closures next week:
The right lane of southbound I-75 between I-74 and Harrison Avenue from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 25 and Monday, Oct. 26.
The right lane of southbound Central Parkway between the Connector Road and Marshall Avenue will be closed 24 hours a day all week.
The ramps from Bank Street to northbound I-74 and from Harrison Avenue to northbound I-75 from 10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27 to 5 a.m. the next day.
Rolling closures on southbound I-75 at Hopple Street from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 25 and Monday, Oct. 26.
The westbound Hopple Street right turn lane to the westbound I-74 ramp from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
Various closures on side streets from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
In addition, there will be double lane closures on southbound I-75 at State Route 562 from 11 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26 to 5 a.m. the next day. The SR 562 off ramp to southbound I-75 will also be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming road and lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
