I-75/Hopple
construction update
Hamilton
County (Friday,
July 11, 2014) – As
part of the improvements to the Interstate 75/Hopple Street interchange, the
following lane and ramp closures will be in effect next week:

Double
left lane closure on northbound I-75, beginning at 10 p.m. Sunday, July 13 and
Monday, July 14, and reopening by 6 a.m. the following day. The ramp from
northbound I-75 to Hopple Street will also be closed at this time.
·
Double
right lane closure on northbound I-75 beginning at 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 15,
Wednesday, July 16, and Thursday, July 17, with all lanes reopening by 6 a.m.
the following day. Rolling closures will also be in place on Tuesday, July 17,
beginning at midnight.

Double
left lane closure on southbound I-75, beginning at 10 p.m. Sunday, July 13
through Thursday, July 17, with all lanes reopening by 6 a.m. the following
day.
·
Rolling closures will occur on both north and
southbound I-75, beginning at midnight Thursday, July 17 for installation of
overhead trusses. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Friday, July 18.
·
Flagging operations on Marshall Avenue between 9
a.m. and 3 p.m. daily for bridge demolition and excavation work.
·
Full closure of Central Parkway from 10 p.m. to 5
a.m. Monday through Friday.
·
Various side street flagging operations for
material deliveries from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
Note: The posted
speed limit through the I-75/Hopple work zone is 45 miles per hour, which will
receive increased enforcement by Cincinnati police.
